Class Experience

The goal of this course is increase the understanding between letter recognition, letter sounds and site words. Your child’s ability to recognize letters will advance into spelling, reading, writing and critical thinking skills.
My goal is to encourage reading skills. Your child's ability to recognize words will spark a desire for reading. I have been a teacher for the past ten years in both class and homeschool environments. I believe learning takes place with attention, relevance, memory and engagement. Letters Make Words uses letters recognition to illustrate how words are formed. Your child's understanding of forming words will advance into writing, vocabulary and critical thinking skills. This course is the perfect way for your child to master common core reading and writing standards while increasing vocabulary.
Each session will provide your child with words to review. An individualized word wall will be created at the end of the week.
