This instructor for this course has a degree in history. Upon finishing college, the teacher for this course was employed as the Archivist at a World War II museum. As a part of this position, Amber worked to educate learners of all ages about the horrors of war, through factually contextualized and age appropriate discussions of World War II. This teacher has previously held these discussions both in person and online, and provides age appropriate, yet historically accurate information to students.
Homework Offered
Students are encouraged to complete some research outside of class, particularly by exploring one World War II letter of their choosing. They will have the opportunity to share their letter in week 6 of class. This research can be conducted in whatever way works best for each individual family. For some, sources can be found at local libraries. The internet is also a source that yields many results when looking for World War II letters. If you need assistance locating World War II letters, please feel free to reach out to the teacher at any time.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

All information will be fact-based, accurate, and objective in analysis.
