Learners will focus on recognizing the first letter of different types of transportation. (Car, Monster Truck, Airplane and Train) We will be tracing, writing and identifying words that begin with these letter along with a show and tell!

Beep beep!! This one time class is all about transportation: airplanes, cars, monster trucks, and trains. Class will begin with introductions, as learners are given the opportunity to share types of transportation. Learners will practice the phonics sound for the first letters (airplane, car, monster truck and train) as well as identify words that start with these letters. We will practice identifying and tracing these letters several times on the attached worksheet provided before class. This class is a themed class and learners are encouraged to bring their toys to share as we will have a show and tell! (Toys are not required but encouraged!)

A little about me....
👩🎓 In 2015, I received a masters degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. I worked at several positions within the Criminal Justice field but after having my three children (all boys), I had a change of heart! I realized I had a passion for being in the classroom and changing the lives of young learners!
I became an online ESL teacher five years ago, teaching English to children of all ages, and I hold two Tesol certificates.
📒✏ I have classroom experience in grades K-5th as I was an elementary substitute teacher for three years and a kindergarten teacher for the last two years!
I aim for my students to have fun while learning in a structured and welcoming atmosphere. I work to encourage students to build their confidence by speaking to their peers and sharing their ideas.
🌎🏖 In my free time, I enjoy traveling and creating memories with my family, which includes three boys (ages 16, 7, and 5). We enjoy spending time at the beach, pool, and amusement parks!
