Class Experience
I am a certified, experienced, and award-winning early childhood education teacher in Texas. I am also a mother of five children, age 12-1 year old. I am an Orton-Gillingham trained instructor.
Parents will be provided with fun additional learning opportunities to support their child with the words we learn in class.
- a separate device with an internet browser like an iPad, tablet, smart phone, or touch screen laptop Note: The last few minutes of class will be an interactive review game that students can play together at their own pace on a touch screen device. Students will utilize a separate device with an internet browser like a smartphone, iPad, or touch screen laptop to play. Your student will need support the last 8 minutes of class getting set up with the game initially. They should play the game independently once they’re signed up since I will read to them and provide visuals. I will provide the game code visually on my screen when it’s time to play for parents to type in for your young student. More details for parents are provided on the classroom page upon enrollment in the course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Your student will need support the last 8 minutes of class getting set up with an interactive game on a seperate device. I will provide the game code visually on my Zoom screen when it’s time to play so parents can navigate to the website and type in a short numeric code for your young student.
