This one-time course will introduce 7 core letter sounds-we will explore 5 consonant sounds and 2 vowel sounds. We will learn the sounds /m/, /t/, /s/, /b/, /g/, /a/ and /o/.

Description

Class Experience

I will teach the letter sounds for letters: /m/, /t/, /s/, /b/, /g/, /a/ and /o/. 
We will learn what sound these letters make and brainstorm words that begin with these sounds. 
I will lead the class but calling on students who'd like to participate throughout. I am a kindergarten teacher of phonics, and will follow a similar routine that I do in my classroom: I teach the sound, students and I discuss the sound, then, I would use flashcards to ask students to show their learning.
