Class Experience

Beginner Level
👉🏽 In this one time INTERACTIVE class, children will have a BLAST reviewing and learning the letters of the alphabet.

Letter recognition can be so tedious and exhausting so why not make it as FUN as possible. The crazy part is that letter recognition is a major pre-reading skill that is required for phonics to be effective. Children must be able to know their letters and sounds in order to connect the two.

In this class, your child will go over uppercase and lowercase letters. All children will have the opportunity to master the letter of the day. This class is intended for children that are already familiar with most of their letters. Children will get a full review of all capital and lowercase letters and sounds. This will allow children to improve automaticity of previous mastered letters and also learn unmastered letters and sounds.

All children will receive printables for during and after the class that correspond with the letter of the day.

Children will have multiple opportunities to engage with one another and with me through my one-of-a-kind interactive onscreen games (Beat the Buzzer: Letter Recognition, This or That Letter Review, Land the Plane Letter Review, Guess What: Letters and Sounds, Escape Traffic Letter Review, and SOOOO much more).

Prior to class, please print the one sheet letter printable.

This class is mostly associated with Common Core Standards: RF.K.1d (Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet) and RF.K.3a (Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant).

Here is a breakdown of what to expect in this class:
👉🏽 Greeting
👉🏽 The mystery letter
👉🏽 Icebreaker & class expectations
👉🏽 Sound Review
👉🏽 Play Interactive Game(s) for Alphabet Review
👉🏽 Closing/ Goodbye

I can’t wait to see your child in class! 😄
