Join me in this one time class as we have fun singing, dancing and choral reading “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”. We will review letter sounds, graph numbers and finish with a bingo game of letters and numbers.

Description

Class Experience

I always begin the school year with a favorite of mine,  “Chicka, Chicka, Boom Boom , written by Bill Martin Jr’.  This book lends itself to so many learning opportunities and the students love it!  I will begin class by reading the book, then ask the students to join me in choral reading the book.  I will ask comprehension  questions throughout the reading.  We will then review letters/sounds, numbers and discuss the problem and the solution in the book.  We will count letter in our name and...

I will send a handout prior to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Students will be assessed through class participation and ability to complete activity.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parents are encouraged to sit off camera to help your learner.
