Class Experience

In this class students will be working with all the letters in the alphabet. We will be working on one letter a week. Students will practice writing the letters, saying the letter sound, and recognizing which is the letter of the week. Each week there will be a different focus letter and we will review many aspects of the letter. The class begins by talking about the letter, gaining students interest and excitement in the letter is crucial in helping students to be excited about what they are...

Students will be able to use a writing tool to write the letter of the week. Students will be able to visually recognize the letter of the week. Students will be able to recognize the sound of the letter of the week.

Homework is not required. I always encourage families to continue working with their children.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Using informal assessment students will be monitored to see where adjustments and improvements are needed.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parental guidance is always encouraged for young learners in case of technology challenges.
