In this course, students will be introduced to letter blends. Students will practice isolating and saying the sounds of blends (fr-, pl-, str-, -st). Students will identify different words and pictures with those sounds. After students have had practice isolating the sounds, they will practice reading and writing words with letter blends. Next in this course, students will learn the sneaky e rule. Students will read and write words with long vowels using the ‘e.’ Day 1: Learn/Identify/Read Letter Blends Day 2: Write Letter Blends Day 3: Sneaky ‘E’ Day 4: Read/Write Letter Blends & Sneaky ‘E’ Words
