In this ongoing class, your child will build their writing skills and speaking skills as we work through the writing process together to write personal narrative stories. Each week we will have a different theme to write about! We will begin each class welcoming all of the students and introducing everyone. The topic of the day will be posed as a question, which we will answer during welcome time. We will review the rules of the class so everyone can have an enjoyable class! Each class we will focus on the writing process for personal narratives. We will follow the steps to write our stories using a graphic organizer, add an awesome picture (if time), and then share! Your child should know how to write a sentence and be prepared with their supplies. Your child does not need to attend every class to be successful. I cannot wait to help your child be creative and build their writing skills! We will end each class with a fun brain break of movement, exercise, or dancing!
