Description
Class Experience
In this course, students will learn how to write on their own. We first learn the parts of a sentence and practice sentence structure. Each class students will have a short lesson or review from the teacher. Students will participate in group writing activities to help them become better writers. I will be focusing more on writing and getting our thoughts on paper. I want all students to know they can be a writer. Week 1- nouns and labeling Essential questions: What is a noun? Can...
Students will learn sentence structure (capital letter, end marks, and spaces), parts of a sentence( noun, verb, and adjective), and how to expand on and add more detail to their writing.
Students will have an independent practice activity given at the end of class that will need to be completed.
Primary Journaling notebook- the top half of the page no lines bottom have lines. Pencil and erasers *Some classes will have an extra page to print out
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Parents should make sure that students complete and bring any homework to class.
