US Grade 2 - 3
Students will be guided through two stages of writing: pre-writing and drafting. Students will be interactive to help develop a graphic design web (pre-writing). Using the pre-writing web, students will be teacher led through writing a short paragraph on the topic. During the lesson, students will be reminded of the mechanics of writing including: using complete sentences, sentence punctuation, and time order words. Students will interact to help form the sentences used. Knowledge of sentence structure is needed. Students may use a white board or pencil/paper to write along with me, or they can simply interact visually and orally. You can determine the amount of interaction you want your child to have.

Students will be develop their ability to organize thoughts (pre-writing) and write a short paragraph.

Supply List
Students are encouraged to write the paragraph along with me on a white board or paper. However, this is not required.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree. I also have a Middle School Endorsement and a minor in Science. In addition, I am a certified dyslexia interventionist. I have taught for 22 years in grades 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. I love a student centered, interactive learning environment. I have two children and a very spoiled dog named Axle.
