*THIS IS AN INTRO TO THE KEYWORD OUTLINE APPROACH* Students will write all about Roblox! They will write a simple paragraph using a keywords, outlining and summarizing. First, they will read a passage about Roblox and discuss the many interesting facts about it. Then they will create a keyword summary for each sentence (each student will have a turn choosing keywords). Later, we will collaboratively create a paragraph using the keywords from the outline (each student will contribute a sentence). The use of synonyms, adjectives and details will be encouraged. The teacher will type out the paragraph and post it in the classroom by the end of the day (Pacific Standard Time) for each student to print out.
Learning Goals
Students will be introduced to keyword outlines to collaboratively write a paragraph. They will create their own closing statement by picking a descriptive word about Roblox.Other Details
