Class Experience
US Grade 2 - 4
Creating an interesting beginning 'hook', writing a middle with purpose and developing a strong ending for a short story will be taught in this class. Through brainstorming with classmates and the teacher, a topic list will be generated. We will use our pets or stuffed animals to help with ideas. Learners will choose a topic and write 3-5 complete sentences. A variety of word choice examples will be provided. Parts of speech will be reviewed as students write.
