Class Experience
In this one-time class, learners will work together to write their very own cooperative Pigeon story as a class! Learners will work together to choose different story elements. Then, we will practice writing each term with correct penmanship in manuscript ). I will be modeling correct penmanship techniques, giving pointers and corrections, and praising all students for their efforts! Class will conclude with a viewing of our class' Pigeon Story! This class is taught in English.
Students will engage in learning dialogues with teacher and peers. Students will improve their hand eye-coordination, fine motor skills, visual perception, pencil grip, and hand/finger strength, which will contribute to their success in handwriting skills.
No formal homework is assigned
A one-page PDF will be provided the Sunday before class is scheduled to run.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment is provided. Teacher will provide corrections and guidance to any learners wishing to send their finished work to the teacher after class.
