If your child struggles with choosing a topic to write about, this is the class for them. Learners will write a new creative story every week with a different character, setting, and plot.

Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 5

This is an ongoing class. Each week we will write a new creative story.  During class I will introduce the title of the story for the week. We will then use a random generator to choose a character, and setting. Using the title as our guide to what the story will be out, learners will creative a silly story.

This class is taught in English.

This course will help learners who feel stuck and not sure what to write. It will help build confidence in writing and an excitement for storytelling.

I have taught this class for many years. My learners are always excite to see what pops up in the generator wheel and are excited to write creative stories. I have had great successful with learners becoming more confident in writing and more excited to write.

graphic organizer will be provided but plain paper is fine too
lined paper for writing a story draft ( I would recommend a composition notebook or spiral notebook to keep stories in).
