Let's travel! Join this class and go all the way to Arizona with me as we explore the biggest canyon in the world! We will be learning about the Grand Canyon in Arizona. We will learn all about the canyon: it’s history, wildlife, tourism, and weather. We will also learn interesting "fun facts" about the canyon. While learning these things, we will go to the canyon and take a virtual tour! Students will be provided a link to the presentation along with the virtual tour, so that they may experience the 360 view and manipulate it themselves! This will be a fun, engaging and interactive class for students 7 to 12 years old. Class will be a combination of slide presentation, 360 virtual tour and videos. Students are encouraged to turn the lights off while we take our 360 virtual tour for better viewing (but is not necessary)!

Hello! My name is Carissa!
I have been teaching online for the past three years. I have taught ESL toyoung Chinese learners. I very much enjoy working and learning alongside my students.
I have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri and a minor in Sociology. I spent the five years after graduating in many different social work fields before finding online teaching.
My classes include, but are not limited to, cooking, baking, travel, photography, graphic design, and elementary English. I look forward to adding more classes as I grow and brainstorm with my students!
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends, playing with my cat, and taking pictures. I also enjoy traveling. I have traveled all around the world including Italy, Iceland, the UK and France. I have also traveled many places in the United States. I look forward to sharing my traveling experiences with you in the future!
