Class Experience

Join me as we visit many of the popular locations and scientific research facilities in Antarctica, all the while exploring the beautiful sights, amazing wildlife, fascinating geology, unique history, and fun facts this continent has to offer. This course will be a combination of lecture and open discussion where the learners will be encouraged to interact as we move from location to location. Over the course of this lesson students will decorate their own travel map with their favorite aspects of our journey.

“Antarctica is the closest you will ever get to another planet while staying on Earth.” This was a quote from my time in Antarctica that has really stuck with me specifically because I can't think of anything more true. I have fallen in love with this continent and look forward to taking you to my favorite place on Earth.
