Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to tell time to the nearest 5 minutes.
I have taught 1st and 2nd grade in a public education classroom for 7 years. Telling time is part of the curriculum in both grade levels; therefore, I have sufficient knowledge in teaching this concept to young learners.
Before class, students must print the required materials. They will need to create a clock and BINGO sheet using the provided resources.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need: * Printed Materials Provided at the Time of Class Enrollment -Telling Time Practice Worksheet -Create the clock using the file provided. Print on cardstock, cut out, and use a brad to attach the clock hands. -Create a BINGO sheet using the file provided. Cut out clocks. Glue 9 clocks (in random spots) to the BINGO board.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed through practice time and a Telling Time BINGO game.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will need assistance preparing the class materials prior to the start of class time.
