Multiplication can be a tricky subject to get the hang of. However, when equipped with the right knowledge and tools, any student can become a multiplication master in no time! In this class, we’ll go over what multiplication is, as well as some basic strategies for tackling these equations to increase each student’s understanding of the multiplication process. We’ll be covering multiplication tables all the way up to 12x12. We'll start off by introducing ourselves to each other, and then I'll present students with tips and strategies for solving multiplication problems. To help students visualize the math behind each equation, I’ll use pictures, word problems, and real-world examples. At the end of class, there will be a brief and informal quiz-like section where students will have a chance to test their skills and solve some equations. My goal is to provide students with the skills they need to truly understand multiplication so they can solve almost any equation, and so that they can memorize and quickly solve multiplication table equations. I'll upload some guides and worksheets to the classroom after class that students can use to continue practicing their multiplication skills!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to solve multiplication equations from 0x0 to 12x12.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm Ms. Lindsay. I teach classes on a variety of topics, including video games, anime, baking, crafts, and more! These are my personal interests and hobbies that I spend a ton of time learning about myself, and I'm excited that I have the opportunity to share my love of these topics with others.
In 2017, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and my focuses were art and business. I have experience working with young children through leading storytime/arts & crafts at my local library, as well as tutoring students in English and Reading. I have also worked with foreign students who speak different languages to strengthen their pronunciation and conversational skills.
When it comes to my teaching style, I believe it’s important to have fun in class, and focus on students' interests to keep them engaged in their education. I also work hard to foster a positive and uplifting classroom environment, to boost confidence and encourage students to be proud of who they are! Ultimately, students should look forward to having class, instead of feeling like it's boring or something that they're required to do.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of those awesome learners out there. See you in class!
