Class Experience
****This is an ONGOING CLASS**** So many children LOVE sharks and are eager to discuss facts, share stories, shark teeth, science, and maybe their future with them! (Calling all Marine Biologists!) This small group course (just 3 students) is specifically geared toward Shark Lovers who have ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, Autism, etc. who need a little more attention. My goal is to have a meaningful, comfortable, understanding class environment where Shark Lovers can gather to learn about various...
Students will learn about about different shark species Social and Listening Skills Critical Thinking Public Speaking Accepting and Sharing Opinions
I have been teaching children through various styles of learning for 26-years. For the last 12 years, I have experience teaching students with Special Needs. These include directing programs such as CrossFit Kids, theater musicals, along with dance and fitness in public schools. Not to mention, I started teaching on Outschool back in 2020 with my first Shark Class; Cage Diving With Great White Sharks! Throughout this time with Outschool, I have taught Special Needs children.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
