Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Learners will have an opportunity to improve their speaking skills and engage in meaningful conversation while learning a new language. The teacher will introduce a new topic during each class in which students will be able to take turns and share their own thoughts and ideas. Students can also bring things to share as well as the teacher will include a portion of show and tell during each session. This is a great opportunity for students to make new friends, learn how to participate in a group conversation and have fun learning a new language all at the same time.

Bassant
My name is Bassant, and I hold a master’s degree in education with over 12 years of experience in the education field. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to fostering a love of learning in my students and equipping them with the skills they need to succeed. My teaching philosophy is deeply influenced by my Montessori certification, which emphasizes student-centered learning, and I also hold a certificate in learning difficulties, allowing me to effectively support students with diverse learning needs.

My journey in teaching has been enriched by my proficiency in multiple languages, specifically English and Arabic. With a strong academic background and extensive practical experience, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that enables me to create engaging and effective language programs.

As a native Arabic speaker with professional proficiency, I have experience teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. I employ cultural immersion techniques to enhance language learning, providing students with a rich and authentic experience.

Mrs. Sondos
Mrs. Sondos teaches Arabic at Polyglots Academy. She is half Egyptian and half Syrian and can understand almost every Arabic dialect out there. She is a tutor and part time teacher. Mrs. Sondos graduated from Texas A&M in 2021 and I has been tutoring and teaching since 2019. She believes that everyone, regardless of age, deserves a fair chance at learning. She's seen students struggle and then succeed and has realized that the most important key to success is building a strong foundation in the subject they’re trying to learn. She wants to be the one to help others build and maintain that strong foundation that they’ll take with them wherever they go. She has experience teaching kids as young as 4 years old how to read, write and speak Arabic at the basic levels.
