In this one on one class your student will practice their conversational English skills to strengthen their English fluency. Students will also gain a new level of comfort and build confidence while perfecting their speaking skills.

Beginner Level
In this one on one class, students will build upon their English language skills by engaging in casual conversation with myself. Class layout: * Student will start by practicing introductions where they share a few unique characteristics about themselves. * Student will ease into their English skills by playing a comfortable ice breaker game or activity. * Realia, teacher prompts, and activities will keep the class interesting and moving in a cohesive direction. The one one one class size will allow the learner to participate, gain confidence, and build comfort by speaking English in an every day casual manner. All students will be encouraged to speak and respond using complete sentences. These corrections, when needed, will be made using a native American accent.
Learning Goals
Students will build confidence and become more comfortable using the English language.

Hello and welcome to my profile! I love reading, adventuring, spending time with my family, and learning new things. I also of course LOVE to teach!
I have a two degrees, both in education. My first degree is a B.A. in Elementary Education and my second, is a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, I have certificate in teaching English online to students overseas and newcomers here in the states. This is commonly called a TESOL certificate.
I have experience working with all ages from pre-k-12th grade both in-person and online. My in-person teaching experience was a lead teacher in the pubic school system in both California and Texas. I have taught grades 1st-4th as an in-person lead teacher. As for online teaching, I have taught all subjects including teaching English to English Language Learners across the country. I've also worked with students who are autistic, have ADHD, ODD, and anxiety to name a few. My first teaching experience was as an assistant for a Montessori school working with pre-k and preschool students of which I thoroughly enjoyed for just over two years.
My overall teaching career started nearly 18 years ago and I am so looking forward to adding to that experience when working with you budding scholar!Reviews
