Let's Talk Movies: Analyzing Films

This is a discussion style class that meets weekly. Learners can join anytime as each week we will focus on a different movie. This discussion group will focus on major themes, plot, characterization, symbolism present in the film, and over all topics presented in the film. As the instructor, I will be an active participant in the discussion and learners should be open to discussion and sharing their ideas with others. This discussion style class fits best for students who are big time movie buffs and love to discuss their discoveries and realizations about movies with others. Learners should be sure that they are thoroughly familiar with the film before signing up for the course.

Week 1: October 2nd-Beauty and the Beast
Week 2: October 9th-The Lion King
Week 3: October 16th-Signs
Week 4: October 23th-Inside Out 
Week 5: October 30th-Life of Pi
