In this class your student will have the opportunity to practice their conversational skills with other ESL students. This class will help your student's fluency while talking about topics that are fun and engaging. Each week students will be encouraged to share about topics such as school, afterschool activities, family and current events. Students will gain confidence while talking about things that interest them. There is no set curriculum and topics will change according to students wants and or current events. Conversation will be learner directed and all children will have a chance to add to the conversation. The teacher will present questions and prompts to help students with topics to discuss during class if necessary. Topics that may be discussed during classes may include: School Afterschool Activities Favorite Foods Family Likes and Dislikes Sports Hobbies Goals Toys and Games Students may join at any time. This class is for intermediate students who are able to participate in basic conversation.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Deanna and I am excited to see you in class! I will be offering some fun classes for young learners and teens. I enjoy story time, arts and crafts, show and tell, and teaching English and reading! I will incorporate phonics, math, and art into my classes along with social clubs. I have worked with children for over 15 years, specializing in early education. I graduated from Thomas Edison State University concentration in Social Sciences. I love working with children and watching them grow and learn. I aim to always make learning fun. I have been a long-time resident of Orlando, Florida, and am an avid karaoke singer!
