Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, my name is Sue and I'm from England. I am originally from Liverpool but now live a short distance away in Chester.
I teach English classes - phonics, reading, writing and ESL.
I have a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Liverpool and began teaching in 1990. More recently I have been teaching ESL online.
I always teach standing up and use a virtual background as I feel that this can bring more fun to my class. Where possible I will use images and encourage students to interact with each other and ask questions.
I have three children - 25, 22 and 20, a cat called Pearl and a dog called Macey.
I enjoy reading, going on walks with my dog and love anything to do with The Beatles, Harry Potter and Dr Who!
I am looking forward to seeing you in class!
