Have you ever wanted to meet up with people that love Dungeons & Dragons as much as you do? This is the class you have been looking for. We will learn about new things that Wizards of the Coast are publishing. We will talk about character builds--the best, the worst, and the fascinating. We will have the opportunity to talk with peers and trade stories of wonderous adventures, epic battles, and the funny tales that we have experienced. Most importantly we will make friends and have social interactions that are safe for all that join. In this class we will meet once a week for 30 minutes to talk about Dungeons & Dragons. The goal is to create an environment in which students can freely talk with one another and develop social skills to discuss their passions. The teacher will lead and keep the conversation going and interesting; the format is open discussion. We will use other websites occasionally to show examples of different articles and game styles. Overall, these 30 minutes of D&D discourse will be informal yet informative and fun for all.
Learning Goals
Students will stay up to date with latest D&D news and will develop greater skills in communication and question-asking.
