Class experience
These lessons cover a variety of topics to help students improve their communication skills. This course is designed to help beginner students speak confidently about everyday topics. Each week of this course, a new learning objective will be introduced. We will use slides and games and discussion to learn new material. This class can be started at any point of the lesson rotation. After 35 lessons, we will start again at one or you may choose to move on to my Level 2 communication class....
Beginner students will improve their communication skills with a variety of topics.
Teacher Mandy has a degree in Special Education and has taught children with special needs for over 20 years both in the school setting and outside the school. She has had extensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis and has worked with dozens of children with autism using this method. These classes are designed to help children to have the most basic conversations, which can be hard for children with processing issues.
