Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome to my classroom! I have been teaching English for 20 years. For the last five and a half years, I have been an online English as a Second Language teacher (TESOL certification). I have taught over 11,000 online classes helping students from ages 4 to 14 grow in their ability to understand, read, write, and speak English well.
I enjoy teaching students to read, comprehend what they read, and think critically about it.
I love to help students at every level be successful.
I believe every child will love learning if they are guided toward mastery of a concept, are able to apply the concept to their lives, and are encouraged to expand their knowledge through critical thinking.
Some fun, personal facts about me: I love to travel! I have been to 40 states and hope to make it to all 50 in a few years. I have traveled to England, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Honduras.
I would love to help your child learn in a friendly environment!
