Welcome fellow science enthusiasts! Let's Talk about Science! (Social Club) meets once a week for 4 weeks to discuss the scientific questions weighing on our minds.

This club is learner driven. As lead scientist, I will start each meeting with the club agenda, which will consist of any previous business and give an opportunity for new business to ensure each learner has an opportunity to ask their questions and keep our meetings organized. 

The topics of discussion are not just limited to questions. Learners can shared cool and exciting science facts, videos, and experiences that they had.

Examples of topics discussed during a meeting includes but is not limited to:

        □ How are genes predicted?
▪︎ Zoology
        □ What is the purpose of a Stink Bug?
▪︎ Chemistry 
        □ Do neutrons have a purpose? 
▪︎ Physics
        □ Why is the unit for a magnetic field called Tesla?
▪︎College Science Experience 
        □ What is college science like?

We may also watch cool YouTube videos about science and discuss the phenomena in them.

THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS: Videos from YouTube may be viewed during some meetings. I ask that learners share school appropriate videos with the class. Some videos may include flashing lights and explosions. If your learner is sensitive to light flashes or loud noises, please notify me in advance. All learner suggested videos will be viewed before sharing with the class. REFUND POLICY: This class has a standard refund policy: "Refund within 24 hours of payment until your next meeting or lesson access begins."
