Let's Talk About Fascinating Birds(Discussion and 3D Craft)!
In this one time class, we will be looking at different kinds of birds with crowns. They will learn their names, a few fun facts, and create their own unique 3-D birds(A list of craft items is listed under materials).

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
In this class, we will explore birds with different types of crowns. Crowns are the colorful, sometimes funny, feathers that stick off of the top of a bird's head. The learners will learn a fun fact about each bird and their name. Learners will have many opportunities to express their opinions or share a fun fact they may know about the different birds. Some of these you may have seen in your own backyard! After the video, we will use the materials from the supply list to create out our own 3D bird craft.

Parental guidance may be needed when using glue sticks during our art project in the last half of class.
Supply List
The learners will need: 1. One paper plate(any size) 2. Faux feathers or strips of colored paper 3. Glue stick 4. Wiggly eyes (or markers/crayons to draw eyes) 5. Crayons or markers 6. Triangle shapes (2 for feet and 1 smaller for beak)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
