In this two day course, students will learn about the five most popular types of dog breeds in the world (and more)! We will learn about their appearance, health, colors, and any interesting facts about a specific breed. After learning about the breeds, we will compare and contrast the dogs' similarities and differences through a Venn diagram. Each class will discuss different breeds. Videos will be included about the breeds, if applicable, and will be taught through discussion and slides. Learners are not required to have any background knowledge.

Hi! My name is Miss Kellie and I am an elementary school teacher in the United States. I am currently teaching 5th grade science, but have also worked in 3rd, 2nd, and preschool grades teaching various subjects including math and language arts. This is my 5th year in an elementary school but I have over ten years of experience teaching and working with children. I have my master's degree in reading and language and two bachelor's degrees for elementary education and English. I teach a variety of classes including science lessons like animals and space, and language arts lessons that include grammar and writing. I also teach different clubs including baking club!
