In this one-time class, students will be taught what it means to be kind, caring and empathetic towards others. This lesson will be fun and interactive as we talk with each other and play a game at the end of the lesson. Throughout the lesson, students will be encouraged to participate, fill in the blanks, and answer questions related to caring, kindness, and empathy. We will follow a set of slides on the whiteboard for learners to interact with. In this class, students will: -Learn the definition of caring and empathy -Learn other "caring" words (ex. friendly, kind, considerate, etc.) -Learn the difference between "caring" and "not caring" Then we will play a game that reviews the character trait as the conclusion. I will always lead all of my classes with patience, kindness, and empathy. I look forward to seeing you in this class!
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the character trait "caring" and relate it to kindness and empathy. Students will also learn how to show care, kindness, and empathy towards others.
