Description
Class Experience
Students will practice listening, following directions, pretend play, and role-playing. Role-playing is such an important mode of learning for young children, allowing them to practice communication, problem solve, and practice empathy while learning about and making sense of their everyday lives.
Learners will need their favorite baby doll to care for. The following items are recommended, but if you do not have them it's no problem. Learners will be encouraged to pretend and use their imagination for any items they do not have. If your child has other baby care accessories (high chair, baby bathtub, cradle) they can have them close by to use as well. -Bottle -Spoon -Rattle or other baby toy -Small blanket or dish towel -Small washcloth -Small bucket or bin to "wash" baby in -Baby diaper/Wipes (tissues work just fine!)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
