Week 1: Overview of the IB Programme Introduction to IB principles and structure (PYP, MYP, DP, CP). Benefits of IB education: Holistic development and global perspective. Week 2: Understanding IB Learner Profiles Exploring the 10 IB Learner Attributes (e.g., inquirer, thinker, communicator). Practical ways to develop these attributes. Week 3: IB Subject Groups and Interdisciplinary Learning Overview of IB subject groups (Language, Science, Humanities, etc.). How interdisciplinary learning works in IB. Week 4: Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Critical Thinking What is Theory of Knowledge, and why is it important? Activities to strengthen critical thinking and open-mindedness. Week 5: The Extended Essay (EE) and Research Skills Introduction to the Extended Essay: Purpose and structure. Building foundational research and citation skills. Week 6: Time Management and Study Skills for IB Success Strategies to balance coursework, extracurriculars, and personal growth. Tools and tips for managing assignments and deadlines.
