Class Experience
Building confidence in the basics of speaking a foreign language is extremely important, and that is what I will be doing through this class. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's Start Speaking Italian is a series of classes that include learning the basics to start speaking some Italian by focusing on grammar. This specific class includes a focus on direct-object pronouns, answering time questions, and starting to...
The goal of this class is to help students get excited and feel confident in speaking some Italian through learning some key vocabulary in order to get them interested in foreign languages for college or feeling more confident in basic Italian for an upcoming trip to Italy.
In high school, I was only offered Spanish. I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. My love for languages has continued to grow and at university, I took Italian up through Intermediate level. I now give students the opportunity to learn a language that they are interested in and make learning fun.
Homework is optional. *Each time, we will review some from the last lesson. *If homework is given, it will be reviewed in the next class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
There are no quizzes or tests. We review and engage in mini-conversations together. Your student should expect to participate. If asked, I provide a certificate in pdf format for finishing the course.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
