Class Experience

Building confidence in the basics of speaking a foreign language is extremely important, and that is what I will be doing through this class.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's Start Speaking Italian is a series of classes that include learning the basics to start speaking some Italian by focusing on grammar. This specific class includes a focus on some greetings, pronouns, mini- conversations, some numbers, introduction to creating sentences, and some directions.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week 1: Students will learn some greetings and start learning mini-conversations
Week 2: Students will learn some pronouns and continue mini-conversations
Week 3: Students will have an introduction to creating some sentences and learn some directions
Week 4: Students will learn how to count from 0-20 (which include what most consider the hardest numbers to remember out of all the numbers)

*Each time, we will review the information from the last lesson.
*Students will at times be given a PDF, worksheets, etc. (Homework is optional)

*Schedule is subject to change.

This course is part of a series, preparing students to start speaking more in Italian.
------------------------------------------
(If you have younger students, I have other Italian classes for them too!).

*Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This class is mainly for ages 10 and up; however, I do sometimes make accommodations for other ages. Message me if this is something you are interested in.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from North Carolina State University
In high school, I was only offered Spanish. I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. My love for languages has continued to grow and at university, I took Italian up through Intermediate level. I now give students the opportunity to learn a language that they are interested in and make learning fun. I have even been known to take facts and put them into a tune to help memorize them easier!
