This course is purposely designed for the youth who wish to grow in their ability to speak and understand Tagalog. Students will also gain cultural insights about the Philippines.

Description
Class Experience
Students will have an opportunity to grow in their ability to speak and understand this language. We will go over the basics of Tagalog reading, pronunciation and grammar. Students will use targeted vocabulary and sentences to help them build their own sentences using the skill they will learn in this class.
I was born and raised in the Philippines. I speak 4 major Filipino languages/dialects. Years ago, I was a licensed school teacher in the Philippines and taught Filipino (Tagalog) in the classroom. I understand how it is to learn a new language. I am patient and kind to my students. I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment for my students. My students' progress is my success.
