In this exciting, 1-week beginner Italian summer camp, students will continue building their Italian vocabulary, speaking, basic conversation, and social skills. They will learn how to confidently speak in Italian and discuss topics like: physical descriptions, personality traits, money, family members, homes, and themselves!

In just five classes, students will be able to confidently hold daily conversations in Italian using complete sentences, asking questions, and incorporating a variety of Italian vocabulary.

**MARISA GHIRLANDI**
Marisa is an enthusiastic and passionate language teacher with over 4 years experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. She holds a MA in Modern Languages and Literatures and a BA in European Languages and Literatures. She is currently based in Canterbury, England, where she teaches Italian at the University of Kent and does research about mobile assisted language learning. Marisa is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and German. She grew up in Italy and realized her passion for languages and travels at a young age. In the past 6 years she has lived in Italy, Spain, Chile, Germany, and England. Being used to engaging with different cultures, Marisa is empathetic, patient and equipped to understand mistakes. Marisa loves teaching and makes learning fun!

Practice, practice, practice! After each class, the teacher will share class notes and handouts in the classroom. Please print and study them if time allows.

3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
