In this ongoing class learners will explore the sounds of the French language.

Class Experience

During this series of fun and interactive lessons, children will learn sounds of the French language through songs, games and conversations.  Each week learners will practice reading, writing, speaking, and spelling in French. We will go slowly and make sure each concept is grasped. The small class size of each session ensures individual attention for each learner. Mme. Colleen loves to incorporate songs and humor into her classes to help her learners remember and use what they learn.

Students will gain an understanding of the sounds that make up French words, and will learn how to read, pronounce, spell, and use these words in context.

Each week Mme Colleen will provide worksheets and other printed or online review materials at the end of each lesson and students are expected to complete these before the next class.

Students should come to class with a notebook and pencil as well as any worksheets the teacher assigns.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
