Bonjour! Our sessions will take place every Monday from 2:30 PM to 3.30 PM Central Time, starting August 12th and running through October 9th. Class Structure: • Duration: 60 minutes each week • Schedule: Mondays, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM Central Time • Dates: August 19th - October 9th Key Features: • Interactive learning: Expect a high level of interaction through role plays, games, pair work, and group activities. • Varied Resources: We will utilise presentations and hand-outs to enhance learning. Skills Focus: • Listening: Develop the ability to understand basic spoken French by joining in and responding. • Speaking: Practice using basic vocabulary and language structures. • Reading: Read and comprehend French words. • Writing: Develop writing skills through homework and breakout sessions. Assessments and Progress: • Homework: Weekly assignments to reinforce learning. • Project to present at the end of the cycle. • Practice: At least two hours of practice between classes is recommended. • Resources: Slides will be shared after each class for review. Learn how to introduce yourself in French and engage in a basic conversation. Introduction to the French phonetic alphabet and pronunciation rules. 9 weeks syllabus.

Learn to count from 1 to 20 in French, as well as the days of the week and the months of the year.

Introduction to French culture.
Exploring the Cuisine and iconic monuments of Paris. Introduction to Present Tense Verbs: Focusing on the Verb "Aimer" (to like).

Learn the colours and clothing vocabulary: Describe what you are wearing and introduction to masculine and feminine nouns and articles.

I am Anissa, a friendly and dedicated native French speaker and tutor passionate about supporting learners of all ages, levels, and abilities.
Originally from the French Alps, I have called the UK home for over 15 years.
Being multilingual myself, I deeply understand the challenges and rewards of mastering a new language. Over the past six years, I have provided French tuition and previously taught beginner classes at my local college. My teaching style is practical, relaxed, and interactive, incorporating visuals, role plays, and games to create a collaborative and enjoyable learning experience. Seeing my students thrive and have fun while learning brings me immense joy.
Beyond language tutoring, I am deeply committed to mentoring and education. I have volunteered with RSA Academies and I am currently supporting the One Million Mentors programme, where I guide young people in discovering their potential and purpose.
Additionally, I lead a global team within the Travel & Tourism industry, inspiring and motivating individuals to reach their full potential. I also freelance as a Wine & Spirit Educator, allowing me to interact with diverse cultures worldwide.
With a postgraduate education and a strong belief in lifelong learning, I aim to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in every student I teach.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, taking long walks with family and friends, gardening, and reading.
