Players will learn to thrive in survival mode with guidance, structure, and support, especially designed for learners with unique learning needs. Each class includes a warm welcome, a structured survival challenge, and time to reflect, share, and celebrate accomplishments in a positive and inclusive environment. โจ What Makes This Class Stand Out: - Inclusive Play: Designed to support learners with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other unique learning styles in a safe and structured environment. - Creative Problem-Solving: Learners face fun survival tasks like building shelters, farming, and exploring cavesโall encouraging critical thinking and creativity. - Social Connection: Kids work together in pairs or small groups, practicing communication and teamwork at their own comfort level. - Confidence Through Play: Gentle guidance helps learners build independence and pride in their Minecraft survival skills. โฐ Class Structure (55 Minutes): - Welcome & Game Plan (5โ10 mins): Check-in, introduce the dayโs challenge, and go over our goals in a visual and friendly way. - Survival Challenge Time (35โ40 mins): Learners jump into the world to complete the dayโs activity (e.g., building a survival base, exploring a biome, gathering food safely). - Showcase & Wrap-Up (5โ10 mins): Everyone is invited to share their builds and discoveries. We reflect on what we learned and how we worked as a team. ๐ Teaching Style: I provide a calm, patient, and supportive space where learners can be themselves and grow at their own pace. My teaching approach is guided by empathy, structure, and encouragement. I use clear directions, check-ins, and visual cues to support diverse learning needsโand above all, I make sure every learner feels heard, included, and proud of what they create.

This class is welcoming to learners with unique learning needs, including those with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other neurodivergent profiles. I provide a flexible, supportive, and structured environment where all learners can thrive at the
Parental Guidance
This class uses Minecraft. Learners must have access to a Minecraft account (Bedrock edition, as specified by the teacher). Parental assistance may be required to log in, access the correct world/server, or troubleshoot any technical issues.
In Minecraft world, learners may need to share their Minecraft Gamertag with the teacher to be invited to the session. This information will be kept private and used solely for class participation. Outschoolโs safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Zoom will also be used for live interaction, so learners should be comfortable switching between Zoom and Minecraft during class.
Pre-Requisites
For this class, you will need to have purchased a copy of Minecraft (Bedrock Edition). You'll need two devices: the first for the Zoom call (to talk) and one to play Minecraft. Zoom can be downloaded and used on smartphones (iOS/Android)
