Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn a little bit about our eye's unique characteristics and properties that allow sight. They will then apply basic sketching skills to draw the eye and appreciate its beauty.
No homework assigned. My hopes is that the learner will then apply their new knowledge and share this beauty of our eye with others. Possibly they will expand their drawings and practice with sketching their own faces as well, in forms of self-portraits.
Learner will need any paper, pencil(s) of choice, eraser, pencil sharpener, and colored pencils or crayons. Optional, but beneficial, a hand-held mirror of some sort.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment is only in the form of how the learner shows their appreciation of their eye in both its form, function, and beauty. My wish is that they are proud of their sketches and wish to share their new knowledge with those that they care about.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
