In this course, students will get more comfortable with their singing voices and learn how to better use them. Singers of ANY level are welcome. The idea behind this class is to give kids with a love for singing a space to improve with other kids who have the same interests - all while having tons of fun! In each class, I'll start off by checking in with all the kids and loosening them up by singing a song for them (I'll let them pick the songs). Next, we'll warm up, go over some vocal exercises & techniques, then break down a popular song line by line. Each student will take turns with hands-on attention. At the end of the class, we'll open the mic up to anyone who wants to share! My teaching style is very passionate and eccentric. I try my best to help stoke the fires of their curiosity and inspire them the same way my parents and mentors have done for me. I make it a priority to ensure I'm creating a safe space where the kids feel comfortable, confident, and excited. I have many years of working closely with teaching kids music and can't wait to get to know you all!
Learning Goals
My goal for this class is to help students get more in tune with their love for music. A little bit of encouragement and guidance gave me the confidence to take what makes me happy to the next level. I wish to be the same kind of influence on all my students. Our objective is to have fun, get better, and get to know others with the same interests.

All you'll need is your voice and a good attitude! Any kids that have instruments may bring them out when it's time to share. :)

Hey there! My name is Terrence, I have a passion for music, comics, and connecting with others. Especially when it comes to helping youth discover their passions and potential.
I'll be teaching mainly Music themed classes like Singing Lessons, Guitar Lessons, and Songwriting Lessons; as well as some other classes like Superhero-Themed Studies (I'm somewhat of an expert) haha.
I grew up in Los Angeles with an older brother and great parents who supported me in my love for music. Starting at age 6 I began playing guitar, piano, bass, and drums - as well as never being able to stop singing. I've gotten an inside look at the music industry from a young age, and hope to help guide others with my experience.
I'm motivated to support others in their dreams the same way my parents supported me in mine. "Encouragement is all one needs to find their way."
