"Pasko" which means Christmas in Filipino is a well-celebrated event all over the Philippines. Filipinos look forward to this day as a day of family reunions, good food, and meaningful memories. Christmas songs are an integral part of any Filipino holiday celebration. In this course, students will learn Tagalog vocabulary, pronunciation, and expressions that will enhance their Tagalog language skills. Next, we will learn the tunes of each song. Students will follow along as instructed by the teacher. Not only do students learn songs, they will also learn Tagalog expressions and be introduced to fun traditions observed in the Philippines during the holiday season. Get ready to sing your heart out! Do you know how to play the uke? Bring it to class! Day 1: Pasko Na Naman (It's Christmas Again) Day 2: Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) Day 3: Ang Pasko Ay Sumapit (Christmas Has Come) "There is music in every child..." Let us discover it together. -Ms. Helen
