Do you love the music of Disney? In this class we will sing seven Disney songs from around the world while we discuss six basics of great singing. We will reinforce these concepts through fun songs and warm-ups. Class 1: Let's sing "It's a Small World." While we learn this song, we will also learn about good posture and an open mouth space Class 2: Let's sing "Prince Ali" and "Hakuna Matata." While singing this song we will learn about diction. Class 3: Let's sing "Zero to Hero." While singing this song, we will learn about breath. Class 4: Let's sing "Honor to Us All." While learning this song, we will learn about resonance. Class 5: Let's sing "The Tiki Room" and "Under the Sea." For this class we will practice the six basics of great singing. Class 6: Let's Party! We will practice each song we have learned and put them all together! No singing experience is required for this class. As part of the fee for this class, students will receive their own personal copy of the sheet music. This copy is for your own personal use. It can not be distributed. It does not grant performance rights for the piece. You will receive an electronic version of the sheet music upon enrollment of the course. Once you receive a copy of the sheet music, the cost of the sheet music cannot be refunded ($4). This class is for educational purposes only. It is not an official Disney product.

I have been teaching for over 15 years. I graduated from Southern Utah University with my degree in Music Education in 2003. Starting in 2004, I taught private voice and piano lessons to students. In 2014, I began teaching music at a local elementary school.
In my classroom, I have taught singing, rhythm games, recorder, ukulele, music theory and how to write your own song! I love sharing my love of music with my students.
I also enjoy musical theater. I have done several communtiy theater productions. I have been privileged to play the roles of Mrs. Potts in "Beauty and the Beast," Jack's Mother in "Into the Woods," Mabel in "The Pirates of Penzance," and Kim in "Bye, Bye BIrdie."
