Let's Sing; a Group Voice Lesson for Young Singers
In this one time course young singers will learn basic vocal skills together. They will learn & practice various singing scales while also being introduced to vocal technique, music terms, & a song they can continue rehearsing afterwards.

Class Experience
This class will act as a fun group voice lesson for young singers ages 6-9. Proper singing technique that is learned early will benefit them more as their voice continues to mature. In this class the specific goals are as listed below. Students will: 1. Learn to hear pitch and match notes on the piano with their voice. 2. Practice singing solfege scales. 3. See diagrams and slides in a PowerPoint to help them visualize good breathing, vowel formation & different registers of the...
Students will: 1. Learn to hear pitch and match notes on the piano with their voice. 2. Practice singing solfege scales. 3. See diagrams and slides in a PowerPoint to help them visualize good breathing, vowel formation & different registers of the voice 4. Be taught musical and vocal terminology often used by voice coaches & musical directors 5. Learn a song ( Doe A Deer) to help them apply what was taught in the lesson 7. Practice singing the song line by line, taking turns with solos, and receiving personalized feedback. 6. Be given links after class for extended practice.
Anne Martin began her career as a singer at the age of 13, recorded 3 CD's before her 21st birthday and has sung in several choirs, musical theater productions, and special events in multiple states across the US over the course of the last 20 years. She has over 10 years teaching experience, both privately and in the Public schools. She currently resides in Florida and has appeared twice at the Tampa Bay Rays stadium to sing the National Anthem, has been in productions at both Manatee and Sarasota Players Theaters and sang several concerts with Sarasota's professional Choral Artists, and even sang in Disney's Candlelight Processional at Epcot last year. She has been singing around the state with her husband and they are known as "The Martin Duo". www.themartinduo.com
