In this one-time section, students will learn ASL greetings (i.e., hello, how are you?) and will practice communicating with each other.

In this introduction to sign language class, your child will learn basic greetings in American Sign Language. I think children learn best through fun and play; I utilize song/games to help expose learners to sign. I served as a member of college sign choir during college. While working at a school for the blind with multiple disabilities, I used sign language to teach and communicate with my students. I have 3 years of experience utilizing sign language in my work teaching at a preschool.
Please be sure to have space for your learner to easily sit/stand, while we move and play together.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
