In this introduction to sign language class, your child will learn the alphabet in American Sign Language. Children learn best through fun and play, I utilize songs/games to help expose learners to ASL. Through this class your child will learn how to sign the alphabet as well as learn some extra signs along the way. I served as a member of college sign choir during college. While working at a school for the blind with multiple disabilities, I used sign language to teach and communicate with my students. I have 3 years of experience utilizing sign language in my work teaching at a preschool.
Please be sure to have space for your learner to easily sit/stand, while we move and play together.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
