Class Experience

In this introduction to sign language camp, your child will learn the alphabet in American Sign Language. Children learn best through fun and play, I utilize songs/games to help expose learners to ASL. Through this class your child will learn how to sign the alphabet as well as learn some extra signs along the way. This is an interactive class in which learners will play games that utilize signs as they learn the alphabet together.

I served as a member of college sign choir during college.
While working at a school for the blind with multiple disabilities, I used sign language to teach and communicate with my students.
I have 3 years of experience utilizing sign language in my work teaching at a preschool.

Please be sure to have space for your learner to easily sit/stand, while we move and play together.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
